_{^{I knew I wanted to be a financial advisor at the tender age of 12. While most kids my age were busy dreaming about becoming astronauts or superheroes, I was inspired by my dad, who was already making a difference in people's lives as a financial advisor.}}

_{^{Fast forward a few decades and I’ve built a thriving team of experts and found us a home inside an incredible office space in the heart of Port Perry. My wife (Lorraine) and I had been enjoying our cottage on Lake Scugog for years, so when we relocated here over 5 years ago, Scugog already felt like home sweet home!}}

_{^{Giving Back: BGIP’s Summer Spectacular}}

_{^{One of BGIP’s most impactful aspects is its commitment to giving back and so we teamed up with the Port Perry Hospital Foundation for a fundraising event that’s more party than pitch. The "BGIP Summer Spectacular" is an evening filled with dinner, drinks, and live music where guests can enjoy themselves while supporting a great cause.}}

_{^{Last year, this fabulous gathering attracted 120 guests and raised a whopping $60,000! That money went straight to buying two portable defibrillators for the hospital's emergency department.}} 

_{^{This year? BGIP upped the ante and raised $77,000!
